One-day CHO expression system cuts validation time from weeks to days Standardized data for AI and ML models; processes 3,000 molecules simultaneously

Biointron, a contract research organization (CRO) specializing in antibody drug development, has launched RushData, an integrated service platform that accelerates artificial intelligence (AI)-based antibody discovery.
According to Biopharma APEC on the 28th (local time), Biointron said it would launch the RushData service, which significantly shortens the experimental validation stage for the numerous antibody candidates generated by AI. With conventional methods, this process takes 3 to 4 weeks or longer, and has been identified as a bottleneck in drug development.
RushData is based on Biointron's one-day transient CHO expression system. It reduces the time from antibody sequence submission to obtaining high-quality experimental data to several days. The platform's distinguishing feature is the integration of antibody expression, binding analysis, and early developability assessment into a single standardized workflow.
The resulting structured data can be used directly to train, validate, and optimize AI and machine learning (ML) models. In particular, the platform uses CHO (Chinese hamster ovary) cells, the industry standard for therapeutic antibody expression, to enhance reliability. CHO cell-based expression supports human-like post-translational modifications and proper protein folding, making it useful for predicting clinically meaningful developability characteristics.
The platform can process more than 3,000 molecules in parallel at once. It also integrates binding characterization using biolayer interferometry (BLI) and surface plasmon resonance (SPR).
The service consists of three packages that can be selected according to need. The Basic package includes expression, titer, and affinity testing, while the Standard package includes concentration, cGE, and affinity testing. The Premium package also performs early developability assessments, including thermal stability (DSF), self-interaction (AC-SINS), and polyspecificity (PSR-BVP).
Biointron is a company specializing in antibody production and characterization, with more than 14 years of experience and more than 3,000 biopharmaceutical customers worldwide. Through the launch of the new platform, the company plans to respond to the latest needs in biopharmaceutical discovery.
