Novartis’ radioligand therapy Pluvicto has received FDA approval as an early-stage treatment for metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC), nearly doubling the eligible patient population. When used in combination with standard therapy, the drug was found to reduce the risk of disease progression and death by 33%. With the approval, Novartis is expected to accelerate efforts to achieve annual sales of up to $5 billion (approximately 7.5 trillion won).
