The White House has reached most-favored-nation (MFN) drug-pricing agreements with nine pharmaceutical companies. The nine midsize pharmaceutical companies, including Alcon, Astellas Pharma and BridgeBio, pledged to invest a total of more than $19.6 billion in U.S. manufacturing facilities. The agreements bring the total number of pharmaceutical companies receiving most-favored-nation treatment to 26.
