A conductive hydrogel patch for treating myocardial infarction has been developed using kudzu polysaccharides and gold nanoparticles. The patch improves adhesion by using 3D printing to mimic the structure of tree frog footpads and replicates the extracellular matrix environment through a β-1,4-linked structure. Animal studies confirmed its ability to restore cardiac function, and the patch safely degrades in the body after treatment.
