Sanofi will invest $294 million (approximately 430 billion won) to expand its AI hub in Toronto, Canada, and hire 50 additional specialized employees by 2028. The expansion will strengthen the existing infrastructure, which has 150 employees, and aims to apply AI across the drug development process, from discovery through manufacturing and commercialization. Through the initiative, Sanofi plans to halve the time required from drug development to launch and establish a foundation for developing next-generation medicines.
