Kyverna Therapeutics’ CAR-T therapy, mip-cel, showed a 100% response rate in patients with myasthenia gravis, strengthening its potential as the first CAR-T therapy for an autoimmune disease. The therapy also produced positive results in a clinical trial for stiff-person syndrome (SPS), and the company plans to submit a biologics license application (BLA) to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the first half of 2026. To support the commercialization of mip-cel, Kyverna recently appointed Nadia Dack, formerly of Omeros, as chief commercial officer (CCO) as it builds out its commercial organization.
