Britain’s GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is continuing its strategy of balancing the West and East, building on the success of its licensing deal with China’s Hansoh Pharmaceutical.
In 2023, GSK secured rights outside China to two B7-H3- and B7-H4-targeted antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) from Hansoh Pharmaceutical for an upfront payment of $270 million.
GSK later entered into a partnership with China’s Hengrui Pharmaceuticals worth up to $12 billion and covering as many as 12 drugs.
