Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk said it plans to launch at least five blockbuster drugs by 2030 and generate more than $23 billion in annual revenue by 2035 from its current pipeline.
At a capital markets day event in London, Novo Nordisk unveiled a strategy to regain investor confidence after losing its lead in the obesity treatment market to rival Eli Lilly.
Novo Nordisk has lost more than two-thirds of its market capitalization over the past two years or so, and its shares fell an additional 8% in morning trading despite the announcement.
