Celltrion said it received approval for an amendment to the European Phase 3 clinical trial protocol for CT-P44, a biosimilar of Darzalex.
The approval means the company passed both Part 1, which evaluates the clinical design, and Part 2, which evaluates implementation at clinical trial sites, simultaneously.
Celltrion plans to compare the efficacy and safety of the treatment over 2 years in 394 patients with relapsed multiple myeloma.
