Regional Health Care Research Capacity-Building Program’s Second Phase Expands to 9 National University Hospitals

The Ministry of Health and Welfare will expand the second phase of its regional health care research capacity-building program to all nine regional national university hospitals. The first phase covered five hospitals, with approximately 50 billion won invested. The second phase will strengthen industry-academia-research institute-hospital collaborative research linked to strategic industries under the 5-pole, 3-specialized-region strategy, including biotechnology and artificial intelligence (AI).
