The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has comprehensively revised the health functional food mark to feature red and a checkmark.
The revision is intended to prevent cases of mistaken identity by changing the teal color, which was similar to the HACCP mark used for general foods.
The revised mark will apply to products manufactured or processed, or shipped for import, beginning Jan. 1, 2028.
