The Ministry of Health and Welfare held the second public-private consultative body meeting on pharmaceutical industry innovation and discussed measures to strengthen the management and oversight of pharmaceutical sales representatives (CSOs).
As of 2024, there were approximately 15,000 CSOs, but sole proprietors accounted for 70%.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare plans to develop measures to strengthen CSO management and oversight based on feedback from the field.
