The biotechnology-related technologies selected include precision fermentation, exosome drug delivery, personalized mRNA cancer vaccines, and quantum simulation for drug discovery. The World Economic Forum identified securing “trust” and “accessibility” as key challenges in ensuring the equitable distribution of the benefits of technology.
