The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety set its 2027 budget at 882.9 billion won, an increase of 50.9 billion won from this year. The ministry focused on establishing an integrated AI-based food information system and supporting the rapid commercialization of biopharmaceutical products. Once the budget is finalized through deliberation and approval by the National Assembly, the ministry plans to pursue the government’s policy initiatives.
