Bion Medicines said the second interim analysis of a phase 3 trial of first-line treatment for HER2-positive gastroesophageal cancer showed that the combination regimen of Zihela significantly improved overall survival. The Zihela plus chemotherapy group demonstrated improved overall survival compared with the trastuzumab combination group. Bion Medicines plans to present the results at a major scientific conference in the fourth quarter of this year.
