The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) has set its 2027 budget at KRW 882.9 billion. This represents a 6.1% increase from this year’s budget of KRW 832 billion. The MFDS will focus spending on regulatory support for biopharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) and expanding support systems for drug approval and review.
