The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety will apply risk management plans to all 21 growth hormone products from eight companies starting Sept. 1. Marketing authorization holders must distribute patient medication guides and explanatory materials for health care professionals in clinical settings. The MFDS will receive and evaluate implementation results annually, including reports of adverse events from South Korea and other countries.
