The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety established guidelines for the clinical accuracy evaluation of noninvasive automated blood pressure monitors. The MFDS presented two clinical trial methods that compare auscultatory blood pressure measurements with invasive blood pressure measurements. The MFDS also provided guidance on clinical evaluation methods involving special populations, including pregnant women.
