Merck and Moderna reported positive results from a Phase 3 trial of the personalized mRNA cancer vaccine intismeran. The combination of intismeran and Keytruda improved recurrence-free survival and distant metastasis-free survival in 1,137 patients with completely resected, high-risk cutaneous melanoma. The companies plan to present the data at an international medical meeting and discuss a regulatory filing with health authorities.
