Apnimed raised $192 million in an IPO to prepare for the launch of the sleep apnea treatment AD109. The company offered 12 million shares at $16 per share and could receive up to an additional $28.8 million if underwriters exercise their option. In a phase 3 trial involving 660 participants, AD109 reduced apnea events by 46.8%, and the FDA is expected to decide whether to approve it by February 2027.
