Viridian’s thyroid eye disease (TED) drug, elegrasibart, met the primary endpoint in a phase 3 trial with a 54% response rate. The self-administered subcutaneous injection, given every 8 weeks, showed a significant difference compared with placebo (15%). The company plans to seek FDA approval in the first quarter of next year and compete in a $1.9 billion (approximately 2.75 trillion won) market.
