Published as a cover article in the international journal Angewandte Chemie Expected applications include RNA therapeutics and mRNA production

A technology that controls RNA production through DNA sequence design has been developed and published as a cover article in an international journal (IF 17.0). A specific DNA “flap structure” suppresses RNA production, and transcription is activated when the structure is removed. The technology is expected to be used in RNA therapeutics, mRNA production and nucleic acid diagnostics.
