Hanmi Pharmaceutical has licensed its obesity and metabolic disease treatment HM17321 to U.S.-based Genentech. The total contract value is $2.305 billion (approximately 3.1892 trillion won), comprising an upfront payment of $190 million and milestone payments of $2.115 billion. Hanmi Pharmaceutical is granting Genentech exclusive rights worldwide, excluding South Korea.
