Daewoong Pharmaceutical is conducting a domestic phase 3 trial of DW-4421, a new gastroesophageal reflux disease drug targeting the 730 billion won P-CAB market. In the trial, Daewoong Pharmaceutical is evaluating the drug’s efficacy for two indications: erosive and nonerosive gastroesophageal reflux disease. After completing the trial, Daewoong Pharmaceutical plans to obtain marketing approval and compete directly with K-CAB and Fexuclue.
