Qurient received approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for a combination trial of the CDK7 inhibitor mocaciclil and the ADC Trodelvy in patients with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). This is the first case in which a CDK7 inhibitor and an ADC with a TOP1 inhibitor payload will be administered together, using a mechanism that inhibits the DNA damage repair pathway. The company will evaluate whether the combination can enhance Trodelvy’s existing treatment effects and expand the range of eligible patients.
