Johnson & Johnson (J&J) has proposed a $5.5 billion settlement to resolve 76,000 talc-related ovarian cancer lawsuits. The proposal was supported by 99.75% of plaintiffs, and the litigation, which has continued for more than 10 years, will end if 95% of all plaintiffs accept it. J&J plans to pay $3 billion in 2027 if the settlement is finalized.
