GSK announced a restructuring plan to cut 3.75 trillion won ($2.5 billion) annually by 2029 to secure funding for late-stage R&D. The restructuring will incur a one-time cost of 4.8 trillion won ($3.2 billion), with the savings reinvested in late-stage pipelines, including antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). GSK also plans to invest £400 million to establish a new research headquarters in Cambridge and accelerate the development of seven key assets.
