Sanofi will invest $294 million (approximately 426.3 billion won) to expand its AI hub in Toronto, Canada, with the goal of cutting drug development time in half. The investment is expected to create 50 specialized jobs by 2028, and the company plans to apply AI technology across the drug development process, from discovery through manufacturing and commercialization. Sanofi has already secured U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for a therapy using an AI-based “digital twin.”
