Cytokinetics’ heart disease treatment Myqorzo met both efficacy goals in a phase 3 trial for nonobstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). In the trial, named ACACIA, Myqorzo demonstrated statistically significant improvements in heart failure symptoms and cardiovascular health. The success is expected to expand the indications for Myqorzo, which is already approved as a treatment for obstructive HCM, and generate annual sales of up to $5 billion (approximately 7.25 trillion won).
